Installation Instructions

Follow these instructions to install and configure myCloudDrive.

Download and open the disk image

Download the latest version at:

https://myclouddrive.app/Downloads/myCloudDrive.dmg


Open the disk image and drag myCloudDrive.app into your Applications folder.

Launch the app

On the first launch, macOS may show a message that it cannot verify myCloudDrive. That is normal for apps downloaded outside the Mac App Store.

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  2. Scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to myCloudDrive.
  3. Confirm with Open.
Verify your license

Click the menu bar icon.

Click “License” and enter your license code.

Click “Verify” to validate the license.


You should see a green notice:

Configure your connection

Click “Settings” and configure your connection.

Save your settings and click “Test”.

Click “Sync” to sync the storage.

Open myCloudDrive in Finder

Open Finder and select “myCloudDrive” in the sidebar.
