How It Works

Behind the scenes, myCloudDrive securely connects via FTP and syncs your files with your server.
Secure Folder - Optional
The only native Mac drive that lets you add zero-knowledge encryption to any FTP or WebDAV storage.
This feature lets you create a dedicated Secure Folder for sensitive files. Anything placed inside this folder is encrypted with AES-256-GCM (enterprise-grade) before it is sent to the server. The storage provider cannot read the contents (zero-knowledge). On your Mac, files look and behave normally.

Privacy by Design
myCloudDrive only communicates with the servers you configure and, when needed, our license server and Apple iCloud.
For license management, the app sends your license key and a hashed device identifier via HTTPS.
No personal data, analytics, or usage data are collected.
Optionally, your configuration can be synced via Apple iCloud.
